FM Reception Guide Improving
The FM Reception Guide is up and is currently being updated. Other guides will be added and fleshed out as we go.

7 Web Sites the FM Radio Enthusiast Should Bookmark
There are some sites that have so much value you will continue to return again and again. Interestingly there are 3 message boards but community is a great way to share knowledge, particularly real experience and not theory. The GE Superadio 3 Renamed: RCA RP7887 Super Radio
Though RCA (Thomson) has been the distributor of the famous GE Superadio 3 for a while, it retained the GE designation. It appears that it has been re-badged as an RCA and that the older model is either not available or is in limited supply; there are a few Superadio 3s for sale on eBay. Â
The Best FM Antenna You Don’t Know About
The best value in a directional FM reception antenna available is an inexpensive antenna that is widely known among FM enthusiasts. The Radio Shack FM6 is no longer sold by Radio Shack but is still available from many antenna distributors as the Antennacraft FM6.

Mainly it is a performer; it picks up across the FM band and does a great job. Of course, with all FM antennas the key is height and good coax (you’ll hear this a lot from me). Brian Beezley provides an excellent analysis of the Antennacraft FM6 on his Web site. (more…)
